Community Guidelines
The Huddle is a room full of working agents who compete with each other by day and help each other here. That only works with a few rules everyone keeps. Coaches run the room and their word is final.
The House Rules (you acknowledge these before your first post)
- Agents helping agents. Show up generous.
- No advertising, recruiting, or selling to members. The Referral Exchange is for referrals, not pitches.
- What is shared here stays here. Never lift another member's contact info, numbers, or story out of the room.
- Never discuss what to charge. Do not post, ask, or agree with other members about commission rates, fees, splits, or whether to work with any brokerage, lender, or vendor. Coach each other on value, not on price. Posts that cross this line come down.
- Bring real numbers and real losses, not highlight reels.
- Disagree with ideas, never with people. No harassment, no discrimination, no dogpiling.
- Post only what is yours to post. No client details, no confidential deal terms, no screenshots of other people's private information.
Why rule 4 exists, in plain words
Members of the Huddle are independent businesses. Under U.S. antitrust law, competitors who agree on prices, fees, or whom to boycott break the law, and it does not matter whether the agreement is written, spoken on a call, or reached in a forum thread. Real estate commissions have been the subject of exactly that kind of litigation. RMA will not host it, and members who try to start it will lose access.
What is fine: how you explain your value, how you present your services, how you handle an objection, how you run your own business. What is not fine: "what is everyone charging," "we should all hold the line at X," "nobody should work with that lender," or any thread that drifts toward a shared rate or a shared refusal to deal. If you are unsure, ask a coach privately instead of posting.
Referral Exchange rules
- Post a referral only for a real client who has agreed to be referred.
- Claim a referral only if you are licensed and able to serve that client in that market.
- Any referral agreement or fee is between you, the other agent, and your brokers, in writing, under your state's license law. RMA is not a party and takes no fee.
- Use a member's listed contact details for that referral conversation and nothing else. No lists, no exports, no mass outreach.
Recording and confidentiality on calls
Calls are recorded and replays go to the members entitled to that call. Do not record calls yourself. Members share real numbers and real struggles on calls; keep them in the room.
Moderation
- Members can report a post or reply to the coaches. Reports are anonymous to the room and never visible to other members.
- Coaches can remove content, pin, restrict posting, or remove a member from the Huddle.
- The Platform may flag posts containing pricing, commission, or boycott language for coach review before they are widely seen. Flagging is a review, not a verdict.
- Repeated or serious violations, including any attempt to coordinate pricing, may end your membership under the Terms of Service without refund.
